Parking & Transportation Options

There is a paid parking lot next to AVALON and one across the street next to Capitol Records. If you find a spot on the street at a parking meter be sure to read the signs before heading into the venue.

There are parking lots at 1800 Vine St. (entrance on Yucca St.) and 6223 Selma Ave. (on Selma Ave. between Argyle Ave. and El Centro Ave.)

>Take exit 8 to La Brea Ave North.
>Turn right onto La Brea Ave.
>Stay on La Brea Ave to Hollywood Blvd, turn right.

Dress Code

The Young Artist Academy follows standard Film and Television award show dress code for both adults and youths: no flip flops, denim, suggestive or provocative attire is permitted.

Black-tie attire is especially encouraged for attendees walking the red carpet.

Academy Award Acceptance Policy

If a winner is not in attendance, it is the policy of the Young Artist Academy to accept on their behalf, unless otherwise pre-arranged.

Winners please keep your acceptance speeches to 30 seconds or less.

Note: Academy Membership is for the Awards Season - not a 12-month consecutive year.  Benefits begin again January 1st of each calendar year. Membership renewal is required after January 1st to receive member benefits of each calendar year.

Admission tickets do not include food or beverages (event is NOT ‘banquet-style’) and are for entrance only. By purchasing ticket(s), you accept full and sole responsibility for all risks, both known or unknown, inherent or otherwise, related to this event. You hereby release, discharge and covenant not to sue Young Artist Awards, Young Artist Academy™, the Avalon Hollywood, and each of its respective direct and indirect affiliates. You further agree to HOLD HARMLESS, AND DEFEND the aforementioned parties.
